ugh!

OK I am just going to do this! I need to! I know at the end of the 1001 one days I will NOT look like this anymore.

I look terrible I know! LOL

It was 38 degrees and I had just climbed the 1000 steps!

Ths means I have also started my climb the thusand steps 3 times a week for 3 months task!

So this pertains to my weight loss tasks. My excercise and self improvement.

There you go its out there!

Had a yummy vegetarian meal of mushroom/capsicum and tomato stir fry and home made vegie patties (used tomatoes, zuchini and potatoes from the garden)

First few COMPLETEDS!

Since I am on holidays most of Jan I know I will get through a few of my tasks.

After that things will slow down and I will reach them more slowly.

29 - Get 4 more chooks.

We picked up 4 Isa Brown hens today. They are pullets at around 18 or so weeks old and just nearing starting to lay. They will be named after my Grans sisters (the two we have already are Marg and Belle after my Gran and her oldest sister) I cant remember all their names though so will call my gran or visit tomorrow to find out!

28 - Finish the chicken coop and pen.

This isnt finished but I built 2 new roosts today and made another nesting box since we now have 6 chooks! The roof still needs fixing so that it hinges open to make it easier to access and clean and it needs to be moved to higher ground before the winter hits.

77 - Buy a pocket sized digital camera.

Well I mentioned yesterday I entered a photo competition? Well i got a phone call today to say I won :) So I am now the owner of a Nikon L15 ! Very cool! I also entered 2 photos into a another compeition, that isnt announced til mid January so will have to wait for that one! Now I also wont need to buy myself a pocket digital camera!

18 - Menu plan 5 out of 7 meals each week (0/141)

Wednesday will now be menu plan day. I usually shop twice a week, on a tuesday if not working and on a friday or saturday (these are all market days)

As mentioned I want to menu plan a minimum 5 meals a week with variety.

This alos brings in to play

6 - Eat a minimum of 3 vegetarian meals a week (dinners).

If I plan at least 2 of these vegie meals a week i am more likely to hit my goals :)

So for this following week!

1 - chicken curry (cause i have chicken out for tonight already!) and kids will have chicken schnitzel and vegies)

2 - Tofu vegie stiry fry.

3 -  Chow mein (Iwill have kangaroo steak and vegies as I am not a fan of chow mein, but the kids and Joey love it)

4 - BBQ and salad (vegie sticks and vegie patties for us)

5 - Home made pita pizzas.

Happy New Year!

So I have edited my list and have begun on a few tasks already!

1 - Lose 5 kilos

- I am down 2.1 kilos! My start weight was 98.8 I was so afraid of hitting 100 kilos! My eventual goal is 74, I may reassess but for the record here its 74. That puts me into a healthy BMI range comfortably (I’m tall)

7 - Do some form of excercise 5 times a week (0/141)

- Today I went for a swim. A good start. Felt great too after a night of too much wine!

69 - Hunt out and find music from 10 local artisits bands you like, yet have never before heard and buy each of their cd’s.(1/10)

85 - Enter 20 photo competitions (1/20)

entered the Herald Sun Summer Photo competition today. Small start, but a start all the same!

84 - Create a family and friends photo wall - started

OK, so yeah yeah this doesnt start til the 1st Jan, but honestly how I can wait til then???

I had the camera out today and am on holidays from my real business (though am doing a lot of work on business planning and the rest!) so figured I really need to grab the camera out and shoot when I feel inspired and even when I dont to see what I get and continue to learn form it.

So today I had my 100mm 2.8 macro lens out and have been wanting to get a good photo of the Father In Law for some time.

I think this is the first photo to be printed to go on my family and friends photo wall! So that task has now been begun!
